Lou P. Klein was head of graphic design at London's Royal College of Art. He started collecting brushes and brooms out of an aesthetic appreciation for their design which gradually developed into an interest in materials as well as how the tools were used. Pentagram Papers 3: Brushes and Brooms showcases Klein's collection.
