Pentagram Papers 14: Stars & Stripes showcases Kit Hinrichs' 40 year old collection of Stars and Stripes objects. There have been 27 official flags since the nation's inception as a new star is added each time a state is inducted into the Union. With no official brand standards until 1912, when the last star was added, there was a lot of scope for variety.
