NYU Skirball Fall 2024

Brand Identity, Campaigns

Fall 2024 campaign for the NYU Performing Arts Center.

The Skirball Center for the Performing Arts at New York University is downtown Manhattan’s premier cultural center, presenting a wide variety of genres including dance, theater, music, film and performance art. Pentagram has designed the identity and promotional campaign for the Center’s Fall 2024 season, building on the brand identity Michael Bierut and team created in 2017.

The distinctive Fall 2024 campaign is designed to help NYU Skirball stand out on a campus and in a city packed with offerings. Set in Druk and Druk Wide, designed by local NYC foundry Commercial Type, the new campaign combines titanic typography with stark black-and-white iconography for a bold, dramatic identity.

The Fall 2024 Season opened with the North American premiere of Counting and Cracking, co-presented with The Public Theater. The rest of the season includes an NYC premiere by Netta Yerushalmy, a U.S. premiere by Miet Warlop, North American premieres by Milo Rau and Nature Theater of Oklahoma, and world premieres by The Builders Association and The Civilians.
