A technique created by Norman McLaren that exploits the use of a sound-track on a film strip that can be drawn on with a pen to create dynamic and bold percussive sounds.
[Sound on] The Sonic ident takes direct reference from the 7 dots used in the visual identity by Spin, which represents ‘Cinema, the 7th art’. Here, Yuri takes the 7 dots, turning them into 7th chords and arranged in a 3-3-1 chordal pattern.

[Sound on] The ident was crafted so that it would sound beautiful across all touchpoints, from a full Dolby surround sound system, to the speaker in a smartphone. This is achieved by working within a fixed frequency range that works across all devices.
