William Russell sets up William Russell Architects Ltd
After 12 years as a partner, William Russell is leaving Pentagram and setting up an independent architecture and design consultancy in London.
“My time at Pentagram has been amazing. I’ve had the opportunity to work with the most talented designers on a fantastically diverse range of projects” said Russell. “With my new practice, I’ll hopefully be doing more of the same.”
Russell’s clients at Pentagram included the Rolling Stones, Alexander McQueen, Coutts, Margaret Howell, Cass Art and Moss Bros. His numerous architecture and design awards include a VM + SD Store of the Year Award and Retail Week’s Best Interior Award.
“Will has always created such eloquent and thoughtful architecture,” said Pentagram partner Angus Hyland, “we’ll continue to collaborate with him for years to come.”
