Sascha Lobe Launches London-Based Design Practice

After six years as Partner and Director, Sascha Lobe is leaving Pentagram to establish his own design firm, Lobe Lloyd International Ltd.
Reflecting on his time as a Partner, Lobe explained: “In 2018, I arrived in London with a strong desire for growth and change. My journey with Pentagram has been incredibly fulfilling, contributing to its esteemed legacy and its current standing as the world’s leading independent design studio. As I move forward, my thirst for progress remains unwavering, and I am excited to work on new projects alongside my team.”
During his time at Pentagram, Lobe worked on a multitude of high-profile projects. These include his work on signage and architectural branding projects, the development of numerous typeface families, and the creation of notable typographic projects. Lobe’s work has included visual identities for clients such as The Conran Shop, Cambridge Quantum, MIDI, Native Instruments, Kamaal Williams, Rolex Headquarters NY, Bauhaus-Archiv, among others.
In addition to his commercial clients, Lobe has been involved in various cultural and educational initiatives. He developed signage and environmental graphics for the Bibliothèque nationale du Luxembourg and led architectural branding efforts for South Korean cosmetic giant Amorepacific. Since 2019, Lobe has been Head of Design at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, overseeing the institution’s visual communications strategy across all platforms.
