Reflecting on his time as a Partner, Lobe explained: “In 2018, I arrived in London with a strong desire for growth and change. My journey with Pentagram has been incredibly fulfilling, contributing to its esteemed legacy and its current standing as the world’s leading independent design studio. As I move forward, my thirst for progress remains unwavering, and I am excited to work on new projects alongside my team.”

During his time at Pentagram, Lobe worked on a multitude of high-profile projects. These include his work on signage and architectural branding projects, the development of numerous typeface families, and the creation of notable typographic projects. Lobe’s work has included visual identities for clients such as The Conran Shop, Cambridge Quantum, MIDI, Native Instruments, Kamaal Williams, Rolex Headquarters NY, Bauhaus-Archiv, among others.

In addition to his commercial clients, Lobe has been involved in various cultural and educational initiatives. He has inspired us and introduced new ways of thinking about design. Pentagram is better for having had him as a collaborator, and we’re proud to consider him an alumnus.”

John Rushworth adds: “Having Sascha in the London studio every day for the last few years has been inspirational—he brought a different mindset to our conversations and demonstrated new ways to think about typography and branding buildings.”
