Michael Bierut and his team received Merit Awards for MIT Media Lab's new identity and event graphics, and for a dog signage program at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in New York City. Abbott Miller and his team received Merit Awards for signage and environmental graphics at the Tadao Ando-designed Centro de Roberto Garza Sada, Universidad de Monterrey in Mexico, and for exhibition design for AIGA and Monotype’s Century: 100 Years of Type in Design.
