Announcing Apicella Studio
After 19 years as a partner and owner of Pentagram, Lorenzo Apicella is setting up an independent architecture and design consultancy in San Francisco effective July 1, 2017.
“My time at Pentagram has been an extraordinary preparation for this next phase of my practice,” said Apicella. “In my new consultancy I’ll be able to take on an even wider range of design projects, large and small.”
Apicella’s clients have included The British Museum, Virgin Atlantic, Philips, Citibank, M&T Bank, Harley Davidson, and AMC Television. His numerous Architecture and Design awards include Exhibitor Magazine’s 'Best of 30 Years’ for his launch environment in Denver for audio company Sonance.
“No matter what the challenge, Lorenzo has always been able to devise a brilliant solution,” said partner Paula Scher. “I know that we’ll be collaborating with him for years to come.”
