Vessels of Verse

A selection of Justus Oehler’s book cover designs for Faber & Faber’s Poetry Series are now available on drinks mugs thanks to the Faber Made series of products based on the publisher’s back catalogue of cover art.

Originally designed in 2001, Oehler’s covers employ the typeface Perpetua and a palette of three colours per book to create a series with a distinctive, fresh yet classical look. The Poetry Series mugs are one of a range of products based around Faber & Faber’s back catalogue produced by Art Meets Matter. The line also includes playing cards and is available from the Art Meets Matter website and in select stores.
